Co-curricular Spaces

Co-curricular space signifies the place available for activities other than academic work. College provides a few rooms and ground to monitor and nurture all the activities. A few specific mentioned areas are given


Space for Outdoor Game:

The College has a basket ball and Bad-Minton court, within the campus for the students. For other games like Football, cricket, athletics, the College has access to the ground of the located outside to the College. The College issues sports equipments to students for various games and sports and other activities. Sport cell is assigned duties to observe all the sport related issues.


Space for Indoor Game:

The College has inadequate extent for indoor games due to unavailability of rooms. Still a few indoor games like carom board, chess can somehow be maintain in some of the rooms of the College; mainly during the sports Week. All cultural activities like singing, dancing, and other associated co-curricular activities are performed by the students in the temporary hall, Room I.


Space for Cultural Activities:

The College has cultural committee that looks into and supervises the cultural activities in the college. Under its initiative the College participates in various cultural programmes/competitions organized by the local authority and other institutions. The College students participate in the celebration of the important days of the Country and the State. Cultural activities are part of the College actions and in annual college week students belonging to different local communities like Manipuri, Sylethi, and tea tribes etc. showcase their traditional art forms.


Space for NSS/NCC activities:

NSS and NCC cells take active participation in different extension and community service related works. A combine room (Room No. ) is allotted to NSS/NCC for maintaining all the necessary requirements.

In order to other co-curriculum activities the College also provides National Cadet Corps (NCC), National Service Scheme (NSS) & Red Ribbon Club (RRC) programme:
