Patharkandi College provides hostel facilities with round the clock availability of basic amenities to female students. Construction of the hostel building was supported and funded under MSDP 12th plan in Karimganj District (Group No. I) at a bid price of Rs. 76 lakhs. The composition and improvisation of the building construction has been completed with immediate priority within 18 months by PWD. The college authority shall be entrusted with the charge of the hostel in a short time.

The hostel is a single storey building that can accommodate 50 girl students at present and the number shall rise with the construction of new floors. Typically, the hostel features spacious rooms with separate beds and study tables where 2 or 3 students can reside together. There are well-maintained bathroom and toilets, a common kitchen as well as a large dining hall. The unique quality of our college hostel is its proximity to greenery and nature. The hostel is located within 500 meters from the college building. Because of its location away from the main road, the students can study in a harmonious and peaceful environment within their rooms.

The safety and security of the students is to be treated as utmost priority for which security guards would be recruited for 24 hours. Every hostel room has continuous electricity and water supply, pure drinking water facility and a common telephone. Hostel management committee is to be designed among students, teaching and non-teaching staffs to manage all hostel activities like hostel admissions, fees, room cleaning, food stores & electric bill payment. The committee would also ensure that the food provided in the hostel is both healthy and palatable for the students. Hostel wardens would be assigned among female staffs of the college to understand and act upon the concerns of our students. Hence, with our hostel facility, the female students can utilize their time in a better way for studying in a peaceful environment. The college shall also attempt to build a separate hostel for male students in upcoming future.
